Book
book is a set of written, printed, illustrated, or blank sheets, made of inkpaperparchment, or other materials, fastened together to hinge at one side. A single sheet within a book is a leaf, and each side of a leaf is a page. A set of text-filled or illustrated pages produced in electronic format is known as an electronic book, or e-book.

Book Selling

Bookselling is the commercial trading of books, the retail and distribution end of the publishing process. People who engage in bookselling are called booksellers or bookmen. The founding of libraries in 300 BC stimulated the energies of the Athenian booksellers. In Rome, toward the end of the republic, it became the fashion to have a library, and Roman booksellers carried on a flourishing trade.

Christian book stores

Christian Book Distributors (CBD) is a Christian catalog and internet retailer.
The company was started in 1978 by brothers Stephen and Ray Hendrickson, who were 19 and 14 years old at the time, in their parents’ home in Lynn, Massachusetts. Three years later, as Stephen graduated from college and Ray graduated from high school, the business moved into its first commercial facility in Peabody, Massachusetts. In 1984 the company built a 24,000-square-foot (2,200 m2) facility in the Centennial Industrial Park in Peabody. By 1996 CBD had completely outgrown the site and built a new facility across the street, where it remains today. The facility is now 300,000 square feet (28,000 m2). CBD employs a staff of just over 500 while continuing to be a family affair — Ray Hendrickson is the President and CEO, in addition to his 81-year-old mom and 27-year-old son.[1]
